Bareboat Yacht Charters is a family-owned business that has operated from Tin Can Bay and Great Sandy Strait Marina for more than six years. Our cruising area encompasses an area much more vast than Whitsunday bareboat charters and much more sheltered and serene than many rent a yacht destinations around the world.

Bareboat Yacht Charters operates a luxury fleet of superior vessels, built by internationally renowned and respected shipwrights, including Leopard, Fountaine Pajot, Seawind and Tasman.
Each vessel has been customised to our exacting standards, which we are confident will exceed your expectations.
We offer our clients the unique opportunity to sail or cruise the pristine waterways of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, where sightings of sea turtles, dugongs and dolphins are a daily occurrence. From July to November, your vessel is your own private viewing platform, where you can watch the magnificent humpback whales frolic in Hervey Bay with their calves.
Charterers have the flexibility of choosing whether they skipper themselves, engage in an assisted cruise for the first day, or hire an experienced skipper with intimate knowledge of the area for the duration of their holiday. We also offer extended charters, commencing from the southern edge of one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef.

Meet the team
Steve Robson, the Operations Manager, has over 35 years experience in boating and boat building (Phoenix Cruisers), and more than 30 years knowledge of the Fraser Coast waterways as the former owner and operator of other local charter operations.
Reservations Manager Heather Robson has been taking care of charterers for more than three decades. Heather can share her expert knowledge about what to bring, food, supplies and logistics, and can answer any questions you may have pertaining to your charter.
Assistant Operations Manager, Keira Robson BBus (Marketing), manages marketing, marina staff and administration for Bareboat Yacht Charters and is also hands-on in the day-to-day running of operations.
